Experience: John is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Regional Development of Regional Development Australia Central Coast. Previous to his current position, John has had 20 years of senior management experience in the public and private sectors including executive positions in Local Government and multinational corporations. John has lived on the Central Coast for the past 24 years with his wife and two sons and is passionate about building a strong, vibrant and prosperous Central Coast for all residents in our region.

Dr Lisa Barnes

Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA); Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching; Master of Business Administration (MBA); Fellow CPA (FCPA); Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Fellow Taxation Institute of Australia (FTIA), Fellow Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA), and Chartered Accountant (CA).
Lisa has held governance roles on a number of not-for-profit and NSW government boards. Her strong academic qualifications allow Lisa to pursue her special interest in financial and corporate governance aspects of not-for-profit organisations and social responsibility. Lisa is currently Head of School at the Avondale Business School within Avondale College of Higher Education. She has also been appointed as Assistant Dean Research for the Faculty of Education, Business and Science. Lisa is also a conjoint appointment at the University of Newcastle, Faculty of Business and law. Lisa has also been appointed to the Advisory Board for the Australian Academy of Business Leadership
Mr Steven Paul

Steven is currently employed as the CEO of Community Transport Central Coast Ltd. Prior to this he was the principal of an accounting practice for 10 years. Steven has over 20 years’ experience in the accounting and finance industries including time spent working in a large London university. During this time he has developed a keen interest for organisations working in the Not-for-Profit sector and has served on and worked closely with a number of boards on the Central Coast.
Ms Helen Roberts

Community Transport Manager
Helen retired as CEO of Community Transport Central Coast Ltd. after 28 years in the role where she oversaw the merger of the Community Transport projects in the Gosford and Wyong areas. She brings experience from her roles on the Community Transport State Peak Body Board and other not for profit boards locally where her knowledge of disability, aged care and transport services is especially valued. Helen is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a graduate of the Institute’s Company Directors’ Course.
Mr Anthony (Tony) Tuxworth

Tony has over 30 years of statutory planning experience working in Local Government and presently works as a Town Planning Consultant. Tony has held many managerial roles in Local Government and now manages his own Town Planning Consultancy which covers a broad spectrum of land development from preliminary planning due diligence and site assessment to project coordination, preparation of Statements of Environmental Effects and Environmental Impacts Statements, detailed design and negotiating planning approvals through to implementation.
