The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in disability, aged care, and disability accommodation service provision.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven executive experience with highly effective leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing organisations through change.
  • Demonstrated expertise in governance and compliance as it relates to the disability and aged care sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology trends and their application to the disability and aged care sector.
  • Demonstrated Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in team building and people development.
  • Strong resource management and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated Innovative mindset and a commitment to accountability and transparency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a Company Board to drive strategic growth.
  • Knowledge of the disability and aged care sectors.

  • Knowledge and ability to manage a significant property portfolio.

  • Achieve successful administrative and operational reform to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure strong financial management, risk mitigation, corporate and clinical governance, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through a growth mindset, openness to change, and a commitment to feedback-driven reform.
  • Promote high performance and empowerment within teams.
  • Lead cultural development efforts to align the workforce with Coastlink’s values.
  • Regular reporting to the board on growth, plans, and financials to drive the strategic change in the disability sector.

  • Build and maintain commercial partnerships to support Coastlink’s growth and sustainability.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, such as capital investment, Social Enterprises, and public and private partnerships.
  • Utilise technology advances in the disability sector to enhance service delivery, streamline operations and improve the experience of the clients.
  1. Community Engagement & Advocacy:
  • Establish and strengthen community linkages to enhance Coastlink’s impact in the community.
  • Collaborate with other organisations, government agencies, investors, and stakeholders to advance Coastlink’s mission.
  • Advocate for people with disabilities and older individuals, acting as their effective representative.
  • Understand and address the challenges faced by our clients, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to their well-being.
