Position summary:

We are actively seeking experienced and committed cleaners to undertake duties in our client’s homes. Coastlink currently provide services through both the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Support at Home Packages (SAH).

Reporting to the Senior Care Partner you will be providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients in their homes. The role will be casual with the opportunity to transition to part-time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide quality, timely and effective cleaning services
  • Promote the rights and privacy of our clients, in accordance with relevant policy and legislation
  • Dealing with queries from clients and family confidentially and in a timely manner in collaboration with your manager
  • work for the continuous improvement of Coastlink services in line with Aged Care Accreditation standards

To be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Good insight into the aged care services industries
  • A valid Australian drivers licence and car is essential
  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Great communication and customer service skills and the ability to get along easily with others
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Great understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and risk management practices
  • Confident using electronic, communication tools, including documentation systems, email and mobile phone
  • Great organisation and time management skills – prioritising work activities
  • Perform duties according to work schedule
  • Previous experience in aged or community care environment
  • Possess clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work across the Central Coast
  • Ability to manoeuvre/use equipment relevant to the role
  • A current First Aid Certificate (desirable)

  • A NDIS Worker Screen Check, Working with Children Check
